STAND UP AGAINST POVERTY
After a couple of years looking for ways to make my impact on the world, I decided to contact the STANDUP SPEAKUP organization about some ways I could help and they have allowed me a chance to start a charity organization in Carleton University to raise awareness about poverty in the World and also find ways to mitigate poverty. I have then decided to come up with STAND AGAINST POVERTY. I know I am not left alone in this desire to want to help, so for as many of you that would like to join the cause, you can contact me at dazedfaze2000@yahoo.com or you can visit the organization's at http://www.standagainstpoverty.org/user/4260. Please copy and paste in your browser. Once again, thank you very much for being a part of this cause.

This is such an important campaign. I came across your blog searching for information about it and thought that I would give you kudos for your great effort. If we all stand together we can truly end extreme poverty! Thanks for blogging about this!
I'm following th trend that Nickolas set and will go on with a great thank you for this post. I was also looking for some infos and your post helped me find what I was looking for :)
Thanks...and let's all stand up and speak out on October 16 + 17!
This is a very important issue. More so for the developing economies - so called - third world countrie. You have millions of people living in abject poverty.
The developed countries, though usually mouth 'aids' never really offered cogent assistance.
We howeve, have the leaders of the developing nations to blame; for not being concerned for economic improvement for their peoples. Instead, corruptive enrichment of their personal lots remains their pre-occupation.
Great kudos for directing attention to issues that may prick the consciences of the world leaders for them to do the right things.
